Mangrove Plantation (in collaboration with IYA ChildFund International in Indonesia)

Held in Kampung Gudang Agen, this coastal restoration event brought together 100+ participants, including YSC members, volunteers, students, local community members, and partners from ChildFund International’s youth platform IYA Lampung. Designed as a climate adaptation and coastal protection initiative, the event focused on restoring the local shoreline ecosystem through collective action and environmental education. A total of 100 mangrove trees were planted to help strengthen coastal resilience, reduce erosion risks, and support long-term ecosystem recovery. Beyond tree planting, the activity also promoted awareness on waste and water ecosystem restoration and introduced participants to the concept of the blue economy.
